SEGES is a knowledge and innovation center, working with all aspects of agriculture, and fulfills the role of building bridges between research and practical agriculture. SEGES creates a part of the knowledge by participating in national and international projects and through extensive experimental work.
Organic production of meat and eggs is increasing rapidly in Denmark and Europe. The demand for organic protein to feed organic pigs and poultry is increasing accordingly, and SEGES is therefore working to find new protein sources. The participation in MuMiPro is to be seen in this context.
