The Food Production Engineering Research Group (FPE) at DTU Food has its focus on a deeper mechanistic, primarily physical and chemical, understanding of food processing. The goal is to provide new, cutting-edge knowledge of principles of industrial food processing and the creation of novel technologies within this field.

Tasks in MuMiPro
DTU Food leads the development of processing of mussels to high-quality products in the form of protein (meal and silage) and lipid (oil) (WP2).
